All forms of energy healing are based on the belief that there is a vital life force energy that flows through all living things. This energy is called ki in Japanese, prana in Sanskrit, and chi in Chinese. When this energy is flowing freely, we are healthy and balanced. When it is blocked, we may experience pain, stress, and illness. So the difference between them would be related to the particular issue you are dealing with and what type of focus the practitioner will give during the session.

The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. If you are looking for stress reduction and relaxation, you may only need one session per month. However, if you are dealing with a chronic condition, you may need to see an energy healing practitioner more often, such as once a week or even every other day.

Here are some general guidelines for how often to receive energy healing sessions:

  • For stress reduction and relaxation: Once a month
  • For acute pain or injury: Once a week or more
  • For chronic pain or illness: Once a week or every other week
  • For spiritual growth and development: Once a month or every other month

It is also a good idea to listen to your intuition and your body. If you feel like you need a session more often than your practitioner recommends, don’t be afraid to ask for one. And if you feel like you need a break, that’s okay too.

Energy healing is generally considered safe and has few side effects. However, some people might experience mild and temporary reactions after a session, such as feeling tired or drained, experiencing emotional release, such as crying or laughing, having vivid dreams or flashbacks or feeling hot or cold.

These reactions are usually a sign that the body is processing the energy and releasing toxins. But in any case, to better prepare for the session, its suggested to:

  • Drink plenty of water before and after your session to help flush out toxins.
  • Get plenty of rest after your session to give your body time to heal and rejuvenate.
  • Eat healthy foods and avoid caffeine and alcohol to keep your body in a state of balance.
  • Practice relaxation techniques such as yoga or meditation to further reduce stress and anxiety.

No. Distance healing sessions are equally effective to in-person sessions because energy is everywhere in the universe, so when directed by an energy master, you can get the healing wherever you are in the world.
