In Reiki Healing, the word “Rei” conveys the concept of universality and spirituality, while “Ki” represents the life force energy that flows through all living beings. Drawing parallels to many Eastern disciplines, Reiki recognizes the importance of a freely flowing Qi, or life force energy, in maintaining overall health and well-being. Introduced to the West in the 1950s, Reiki has experienced a surge in popularity since the 1980s, becoming a widely practiced healing modality.

What To Expect During A Reiki Session?

When you make your booking you will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link. At the agreed time, we will connect via zoom and start the treatment.

At the start, we will have a quick chat to understand your needs and preferences. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive therapy, so you will remain fully clothed throughout the treatment.

Most clients experience a deep sense of relaxation, accompanied by sensations of warmth, tingling, coolness, or flowing energy. A typical Reiki treatment lasts between 30 min and one hour.

For individuals with chronic conditions, a weekly Reiki treatment regimen for four to six weeks is often recommended to allow the energy to accumulate within the system. I often explain this process using the analogy of antibiotics: while you may start to feel better after the second or third day, completing the full course is essential for long-lasting recovery. Following the initial treatment plan, we can reassess and adjust as needed.

For those experiencing acute conditions, significant improvements may be noticeable after just two sessions. It’s important to remember that each individual’s experience is unique, as Reiki works on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
